All of these photos have been edited in Lightroom and I have the originals both in RAW CR2 and jpeg, but I don’t think I’m going to bother posting them, the thing is I think sometimes I over edit the photos and they lose their original “appeal”. (Taken with Canon Rebel T6S with a Tamron 18-200mm, that I just posted about).

The last two are really cool.

Yeah as soon as I took the one of that truck I really liked it.

It’s awesome that the truck has some body damage, paired with the background of it. Really like that...

Is that chicken truck at the Kosher Chicken plant down by the water front?

No this was actually right beside those mist things I posted about, they’re close to the stockyards, you’re in Toronto as well I presume?

I think I kind of overdid the green on the edit, but this original has a little bit of noise.

No. I’m an hour and a half west. Spent a lot of time down that area though. There was a chicken plant in the harbour area that was kosher that the shot reminded me of. All I really remember is that it was south of the DVP and the Gardiner, and that at shift change the receptionist said “have a good day Rabbi”, about ten times to ten different men going out and as many coming in.

I’m the same way with editing. I get some pictures off my camera and think “ooh, that looks nice. It would look better if I...” and it ends up looking like some super crushed dark instagram filter. Ugh. All I need to do is add a little contrast, crush the “highlights” and slightly brighten up the “shadows” to make up for my body’s godawful dynamic range and I’ll be fine, but no. Let’s go nuts with the “clarity” and vignette and all sorts of other bullshit first.
